The University of Iowa Injury Prevention Research Center (UIIPRC) is one of 11 CDC-funded injury control research centers, focusing on injury issues such as rural acute care, older adult falls, road traffic safety, and interpersonal violence. Founded in 1991, the center offers expertise in research methods, biostatistics, and epidemiology as well as training, program support, and translational research. Director Corrine Peek-Asa is a member of the Prevent Child Injury advisory committee, and Ann Saba, communications and research coordinator, extends their outreach to the public by using Twitter, Facebook, and a blog. Thank you for all your hard work!
